Protean artist, Sophie Toulouse uses a lot of media ( animation, drawing, volumes, music, smells) to put in scene and to carry us in her universe: “Nation of Angela”. From the depths of her imagination, Sophie Toulouse brushes the evolution of this city, of its citizens and of it begun collapse. Between erotic dream and decay, NOA tackles a new chapter of its history in each exhibition.
Between the obsolete aesthetic of the thirties and the electro pop of the years 2000, her unpredictable creatures make us go in the volutes of their hair, in the furrows of their legs and other sensual and voluptuous lines.
