Thirsty of artistic encounters and experimentations, ADDICT Galerie associates itself to On and On Records and Motown France by leaving free hand to a sample group of artists who will illustrate the fifteen tracks of Place 54, next album of group Hocus Pocus.

Abolishing the frontiers between the different arts, the group has always proposed a visual universe abundant with image of its musical productions between soul, funk and jazz. Focusing himself on funny texts, conscious or poetic, Hocus Pocus offers a new vision of hip-hop far from the clichés and beaten path.

Messenger of the same culture, about fifteen of artists in various landscapes, in electric practices, making the most of their creative energy for a totally new approach giving to see this urban dynamics from now on that cannot be ignored and incarnating a new panorama of the contemporary art. « Place 54, l’expo » then enrolls under the sign of boldness and the spontaneity to make you travel between music and art.

Photographers, illustrators, painters, from WK Interact to Joffrey Ferry going through Koa, Evan Hecox or Sophie Toulouse, are presenting to you their interpretation of the tracks of Hocus Pocus the Thursday 4th of October starting from 6pm in ADDICT Galerie.

This evening is proposing an original preview of Place 54, next opus very expected of Hocus Pocus available in the shops staring from 8th of October as well of some surprises.

The exhibition, as for it, will criss-crosses the France till June 2008, proposing the diverse realisations for sale whose totality of harvest content will be reversed to the association Les Médecins de l’imaginaire developing the art therapy in the hospital centre.

In perpetual effervescence, ADDICT Galerie puts on light once more the emergent creation suggesting fresh and entertainment far from the academism and conventions in service of an ambitious, poetic and generous project.
